About Pace


My construction experience covers some 20 years in building and management. I began my construction experience during the summers of my high school years. I continued on in the field, over summers and breaks, to help pay my way through college. After school I spent a number of years in the restaurant industry, mostly as a systems administrator, but eventually helping in the development of new restaurants within our group.

After 9/11 I found my way back to building. The hard physical labor was tempered with a satisfaction of seeing a day's work. It also had the satisfaction of bringing change and happiness to another's home. I started with the shovel and eventually worked my way up to a project manager. With a company shift I worked for five years as the construction director of a design build firm. I managed up to fifty employees in the field, with as many as 10 remodels at any given time. Over the years I saw the good and bad in projects, and really tried to put systems in place to reduce the problems.

In 2009 I finally felt that I had the tools and experience to run a company in a different way. I found the perfect partner in Adam. We had worked together for a few years and had similar frustrations with the status quo. Our philosophy on the way forward was a nice fit. We spent the better part of a year putting together our systems, explaining our philosophy to our family of subs, and spreading the word to our network of architects and engineers. We hit the ground running.
